You seem to fret about denial in the White House as if it were a novel idea. Name me the first administration that didn't practice denial in some form. Bush has every right to choose Cheney's successor if Cheney retires. Why is this such a foreign concept to you? Frist running for President? And your point is.... what?

This is a representative republic. Win an election and you can instigate change. That's how it's done here. Welcome to America.

Try a little reality on for a change. Here, let me help you...
If abortion is ruled not a constitutional "right" by the supreme court by overturning Roe v. Wade, then the matter will go back to being about "States Rights." Blue states will keep it as a viable option while red states will limit it. That's far from your version of some kind of a modern day holocaust or where you allude to in "women returning to dirty motel rooms" or "knitting needles" (don't you think you're a tad maudlin about this?) Abortion will still be safe, legal, and far from a crime. Stop over reacting for pete's sake.
You remind me of Cameron Diaz on Oprah just before the election when she said, "If Bush is elected, rape will be legal!"

What? You don't know of any anti-war, pro-choice candidates?
Helloooooooo.... perhaps it's because they're not getting many votes maybe?
There's a reason why there are more conservatives than liberals in congress. It's because there are more conservative voters in the American populace than liberal. Catch a clue why don't ya'
