but surely you would be an accessory to murder by sponsoring such a competition. I think that Libertarians would say that you should be free to do what you like with your own life- that does not mean that you can assist, sponsor or speed the demise of another.

Of course, if you are a part of the corporate/ government , it would be perfectly acceptable to sponsor a death match between two embattled Islamic countries (say Iran and Iraq) willing to fight to the death, provide them both with ample weaponry and wait and to see which one prevails.
