There may enough evidence to gain an indictment. That is still a strong possibility, from what the publice knows here. Getting a conviction is much harder to do, and if the time stamped photos, lack of DNA evidence, etc. holds up, the prosecutor may be not get a guilty verdict.

This whole thing is just disgusting any way, and the races of those involved doesn't change that for me. The racial twist just plays up the larger issue of race and class issues in Durham.
