...regardless, hate crimes do not illegalise thought. You can think whatever the hell you want, and you can express those thoughts, and no-one can stop you.

Opinion is fine, discrimination based on such arbriatry things as race is not. A person should not be discriminated against simply because they happened to be born a certain colour, whether someone else wants them to be or not. Some people want to kill others, should we let them simply because they could?
