But, amazingly (considering the islands are British), the US has a veto on who can live there.
Will the US champion the rights of the blameless individuals who lost their homes?

Can anyone explain to me, if the islanders expulsion was illegal and the UK Governments attempts to block their return is illegal, how can the agreement to give the US a veto be legal?
