Actually, the people who did the ranking, the one you showed me, seem to agree with me. If you look at the whole ranking, and the stats they provided, it shows the per capita we have more than you. Yet you continue to ignore the rest of the ranking, why?


Since the US has a higher carrying capacity, you are probably right. But absolute numbers mean nothing. What matters is the application rates and acceptance rates of foreign students, I have no doubt that these rates are higher in Canada than in the US.


If they consider anything in the top-500 the best, then they probably would come to Canada.

You claimed that your universities were superior than Canadian ones, before I ever joined the argument. Given it was an outrageous claim, I decided to disprove it.

So because I didn't let you get away with a random remark about your universities being superior, I somehow started the contest. Either way, it appears you have lost the contest.


Theres a reason why they ranked the top-500, because they believed that those were the best. Look at the whole rankings and do the simple math and you will get the truth.

Thats just it...you want to broaden the comparison to the point where it has no meaning. Why not just say "Canada has more top 1000 universities than America per capita"? The argument was about who has the best.

If you had more top universities, you'd attract more students.



Top 500 is good. Top 25 is much better.

Fine. I admit Canada has a much larger volume of non-top 50 universities than America does. There. Happy? heh heh
