Why is it so hard to believe that God can do whatever the hell God WANTS to do (being God, and all), and that if God wanted humans to descend from apes, then that's just what he did?
The people who argue against evolution aren't saying they believe in God. They are saying they believe in an imperfect bible. The god YOU believe in might have limitations. The God I believe in does not.

Trying to tie 50 year old John McCain to the savings and loan scandal and following his mavericky path of deregulation for all his time in Congress. Hmmmmmmmm, what will voters care more about?? www.keatingeconomics.com |

Carl Sagan (or was it Isaac Asimov?) once wrote (and I am paraphrasing here) that it requires a tremendous suspension of reason to believe that all that is was magically created by some undetectable omnipotent being, and yet at the same time it is also a tremendous leap of faith to presume that the universe came to be as it is entirely by chance.
