I don't know if it is "full of terrorists" but there is certainly information available out there that would help a terrorist operate. To think otherwise is just plain foolish. If something like the AC is available on bookshelves then you can be pretty sure it's in downloadable form as well.

I think that you missed the original point of the net. Millions of interconnected computers over thousands of differant routes were created based off the original idea of making communication possible even after widespread nuclear apocolypse. It is inherantly decentralized and thus impossible to control completely. Even if the goverment took a proactive stance and illegally blocked these sites, there are a number of non web based way of continuing to access this information. Try to understand the differance between "internet" and "world wide web." There is much more than http out there.
