One simple thing that I truly miss, from the old software....
MARK ALL POSTS READ. I don't need to know how many unread posts there are, since my last visit, because, frankly my dear, I dongivadam.  If we could get this back, it would be lovely.

Have you thought about a [url=http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=CBOX[/url] for the board? I had one of the free versions on one of my old forums, and the members loved it. The free version does not automatically refresh, but it worked pretty well. The paid version costs something like two dollars a month and has a lot of neat features. It is really easy to install.
