The US parades these pictures of dead Iraqis but if I recall correctly, photographers are not even allowed to shoot photos of the caskets returning from Iraq with our dead troops. I don't care which side we're talking about, we have moved to new low of disgusting disrespect for the dead.

There is a reason the U.S. military and Iraqi leaders released these photos. It's so that the average Iraqi citizen will believe they are dead. And it's important they know and believe these guys are dead. In both situations you mentioned, though, the pictures they released were tasteful and the bodies were treated respectfully.........in that blood was cleaned up and horrible wounds were not shown. That's far different from the U.S. military bodies.....burned and mangled.....that were shown hanging from a bridge. There was certainly no respect for those dead bodies.
