The unprovoked US-led attack on Iraq is a crusade of domination. The US war on terror is Orwellian doublespeak, the truth being that the US war on terror is a war OF terror. In other words, the war IS the terror. The reality is that the US is the worlds leading terrorist state.

Well haven't read the whole thread but I would not over complacate the situation. The hole world now know that if you attack the US we will overthrow / destroy anyone who remotely looks responsible and maybe use it as an excuse to settle some old scores for the (*)(*)(*)(*)s and grins of it.
This is a very good thing. Why do you think Osama and Alquida have not struck the US again - How hard is that. Its because the Pakistanis have told him look sport we don't need the trouble and these GeenGos have a lot more money and weapons than you. Its Simple It simply boils down to the Really BIG STICK theory |

Before the invasion their was no terrorists in Iraq, Saddam was pretty effective in suppressing them, especially the Shia organizations in the South. Even now the Iraqi Ministry of Information estimates that 80% of the insurgency is home grown. Al queda in Iraq started out as just a bunch of sacked former soldiers and civil servants who wanted to cash in on the world-known name of AQ, the same thing happened in Algeria, Somalia, Afghanistan etc. It's unfortunate because it gives off the false impression that AQ is a centralized international organization with a rigid command and direction, when in fact it's the same as it was 10 years ago - ie people fighting over local problems using big names for groups to make their petty squabbles seem more important, African rebel groups have been doing this for decades, it's how they got the US involved in helping so many stupid causes.

Personally, I don't believe it is a war on terrorism. I believe its a war on Islam. First of all, I am not a Muslim, and I don't think any American, Australian or English troops should have entered Iraq. All this has caused is innocent lives being lost, homes destroyed, countries destroyed etc. And there is still is no peace in the middle east.
