But it isn't the same as you or I at all. We are completley different, no matter how alike it looks to us both. It's not the same thing.

Well we seem to be going around in circles. I guess we will have to agree to disagree. Of course it's different - but that doesn't change anything. Because everyone is different. Every child is different to you and me and that is the ones who are already born. A baby is entirely different physiologically to an adult - that's why they have their own whole separate branch of medicine. As do unborn children. We're ALL different. I don't think that's a valid premise for an argument in favour of abortion. You do. I think you will change - and that's why I think you should be a little less inflexible now.

Okay, let me put it a different way. A fetus is not the same as you or I. A newborn baby is not the same as a fetus, but it is more like you or I, because like us, it has been born. I don't know if you get this, but thats the best I can put it.
And yes, we can agree to disagree, thats the whole point of this debate, after all!
