I think I've given up on any good ever coming out of this conflict.
Everything that was done over the past ten years of diplomacy has been just tossed in the trash.
Israel continues to take part in actions that make people fear them and join with radicals. Radicals continue to not be happy until Israel ceases to exist.
I really want to know what these "opportunities" Bush is talking about are.
All I see is "opportunities" to try and preserve what little bit of hope there still is. But I doubt it really matters what we do at this point.
At this point we can assume the aggressions between Israel and its neighbors are escalated to the point they were at before any progress was made. We can assume more war will be fought and that civilians on both sides will continue to be a bulk of the casualties.
