I like national sales tax also, to completely replace income taxes. This would eliminate all the complex tax code, the IRS division, and the national government would just use the same system that states have already in place for collecting local sales tax. It would save billions in court fees that the government needs to chase down tax-avoiders.

And of course many things would be 100% tax free, like basic food and clothes, one house, one car, school supplies, tuition, health care, etc. This would encourage people to eat healthy (no tax on fruits and veggies) and to save their money.
