So, there are reports the government might disband... Duh must ignore.
I was replying to a poster specifially not a subject of the thread. But that was clear and your just being an ass.

I was even going to post the thing about Sadr 2-3 days ago but decided not to.

1. He seems to make clear he is no interets in it lapsing.

2. I saw no reason to give a story that has no conclusiveness to it simply to watch it be distorted it into another of your USA LOSES..like you are.

So lets see-

There are reports that the Al-Sadr might not extend the cease fire after the original 6-month end date that is in a few weeks.

Quote:
Violence is better, but credit certainly needs to go to Sunni leaders and Shia leaders as well as the surge... Dug must ignore everything but credit it all the the military...
Lie... and you give credit soley to the sunni and shia leaders who you claim have made no political progress..Amazingly stupid.

Quote:
There is no timetable for success in Iraq... Duh must ignore. Duh must ignore.
No there isn't any timetable..thank god.
There is a goal and its moving forward with successes you won't even admit exist.

Quote:
There are more terrorists in Iraq than when we got there.. Duh must ignore

YOUR facts? I'll bet there's lots of those. I tend to call them hot air.
No my links to facts.. lots of them. Congressional record..military record..UN, WTO, on and on..

Sad thing is all your type does is ignore them and play fancy one liners. HD for example hasn't changed a word of his routine in 3 years..3 YEARS!
..oh excuse me he denies the undeniable successes of the Surge he opposed..that changed.

28 years?..BS

Heres the IMF on Iraqs improving economy..
IMF/UN see good year for Iraq

Just to give you an example of one of many of the FACTS you could have found by doing a simple search in the time you wasted decrying them as MY facts.

Driver, that idea makes me a mite grumpy and I'll tell you why.

1. "Fight"[ing], and "stand[ing] up" imply that there is a conflict in Iraq for which a warfare solution can succeed in terms favorable to the US interest. That solution has been tested these last five years with results apparent to even the most strident supporters. Absent US involvement, there was no war but without the US [post-surge if you will] the Iraq Civil War will re-ignite*. In the end, Iraqis have nobody to fight but themselves.

2. Another factor that makes me grumpy is the idea that Iraqi leaders have the least interest in fighting for themselves. What constitutes “themselves” in a culture that places tribal allegiance and sectarian identity ahead of nationality? [“Iraq” as a nation was imposed upon mesopotamia by British decree supported by British guns.]

3. After the US departs Iraq the terrorists who were attracted by the US presence will depart for richer western targets. In the end, US military blood can be spent in Iraq or civilian blood can be spilled in the western world. We have a classical tiger by the tail [I dare not utter “quagmire”, the term having been used in another context.].

* - Please don't take that prediction as coyote prescience. It may easily be supported/refuted in about four or five years on the nightly news.
