Yeah, at least she has self-marketing talent. The "stars" of today and tomorrow don't even do that. They just get on game shows and let judges and people stupid enough to call in to pick them as stars rather than actually selling themselves on the market. At least in Madonna's day, they had to write songs or find talented writers. Now no one cares about songs. It's all about superficial talent: voice, looks.
As much as Madonna sucks and Moscow did exercise an interesting non-governmental censorship feat (I'm ambivalent- but her words about the windows incline me to feel she deserved it even though I hate such populist censorship stuff most of the time), the stars of today and tomorrow suck infinitely more.
