rarely discuss abortion because I think it is a personal choice -that makes me pro-choice but I have no particular gripe with people who feel otherwise. I would not be displeased if it was a state decision but I feel sure that the zealots among us would not be satisfied until the entire planet is made to follow their position. I think that if a person is opposed to limited abortion rights, they must also be opposed to all forms of birth control other than barrier forms because they increase the likelihood that fertilized eggs will be eliminated. This includes the rythm method. Invitro must also be opposed. Men who reject the abortion option should therefore save themselves until marriage, or have their tubes tied until they are ready to reproduce. I believe there is also a pill for men. It makes much more sense for men to take responsibility for these things. It is less physiologically risky and men can have their tubes untied. So that's my message: guys, if you feel strongly about this than YOU take responsibility. Otherwise, keep your opinion to yourself.

My son is pretty innocent at 13. I would not expect a daughter of mine to be fertile at 13 though I guess it happens. I think it would be very traumatic for a 13 year old to go through these adult experiences.
