That question is impossible to answer. Attempting to do so reveals more about the answerer than the questioner.

Which is another way of saying, Bubba, that your assumptions (about Obama, or 12th, or both) are on display in your response. Because you have no way of knowing what 12th thinks the answer was.

i don't deny it. but i am certainly free to observe that 12thmom ponders how a change in his complexion might have altered Obama's destiny. didn't see 12th making that observation regarding any other - white - candidates

I don't see any other candidates' race ever coming up for discussion. Which is an interesting datum in itself, but is hardly 12th's fault.
