The only plus I can imagine is this upholds old 'cold war' versions of war with Russia, and that is the reason for backing Kosovo. Our military does hold grudges, and I believe that is main reason for our involvement. The fed. needs to realize the cold war is over, and other powers are rising which should be taken into account in foreign policies.
