All right, a do-over.
But that's kinda like saying "this medication is not for everyone, especially those with liver problems".
What that really means in real life, is "you can only take this for a little while before it tears up your gut".
Catch my drift?

You've always seemed to me one of the more intelligent posters here, JP - even though I mostly don't agree with your political philosophy - but that's okay, that's why we're here talking.
I really did like Weldon though. I'm not sure what to make of him now.
I'll give him a do-over, just like Harry R., both of those would be okay in my book. These people we're talking about, have to walk a very fine line most of the time, and I'm open-minded about the results, TO A POINT.
Like you guys in Texas there, whose Party Platform included words like "the United States is a Christian nation" - that kind of stuff, goes beyond my political sensibilities.
But a guy like Weldon isn't bad, not really, in the global scheme of things. He's clearly smart and well-informed and as you say, he should probably be given the benefit of the doubt on this one.
Like Ronnie-boy said, "trust but verify".
