From my view, partisanship is hampering the discourse in this forum. So many posters seem like they're rooting for their brother in a duel when in fact, most of us know that
most politicians represent special interests and not our interests.

In 1994, 75 percent of respondents to a CNN poll also said Congress was out of touch.
