Last week, the New York Sun reported that, as an Illinois state senator in 2001, Barack Obama accepted a $200 contribution from William Ayers, a founder of the Weather Underground. This group, also known as “The Weathermen,” was a violent terrorist organization that wanted to overthrow the U.S. government, and actually bombed the U.S. Capitol and the Pentagon during the 1970s.

Though involved in several bombings with the Weathermen, William Ayers was never prosecuted for any crimes. Charges were dropped due to improper FBI surveillance. To this day, Ayers is proud of his violent and treasonous past. “I don't regret setting bombs; I feel we didn't do enough,” he told the New York Times in 2001.

Ayers is the same guy who once told his followers, “Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that’s where it’s really at.”

Obama has a long history with Ayers that goes beyond mere political contributions. Over a decade ago, in 1995, he met with Ayers and Bernardine Dorhn, another member of the Weather Underground, at a private home, where they helped launch his political career.

Since then, Obama and Ayers have participated in many events together and have become close friends. In November of 1997, they were part of a panel at the University of Chicago entitled “Should a child ever be called a ‘super predator’?” to debate “the merits of the juvenile justice system.”

In April of 2002, Ayers, Dohrn, and Obama, then an Illinois State Senator, participated together at a conference entitled “Intellectuals: Who Needs Them?” Ayers and Obama were two of the six members of the “Intellectuals in Times of Crisis” panel.

The record is clear. Barack Obama has a long-standing relationship with an individual who was part of an organization dedicated to the overthrow of this country. Perhaps this shouldn’t come as a total surprise, since Obama is also a big fan of Cuba’s Che Guavera, another radical Marxist.

Do we even need to ask why, at this point, that Obama refuses to wear the American flag on his lapel but will allow his campaign office to put up a flag with Che Guavera on the wall? Or why he has close ties to Raila Odinga, the marxist leader in Kenya who instigated bloody riots and killing after he lost an election, and who recently signed an MOU with the Muslim Council for the institution of sharia law? Or why he belongs to a church with a radical marxist minister who preaches black separatism and blames the U.S. for the 9/11 attacks?

I ask you all to look long and hard at Barack Obama and what he really represents. The mainstream media is doing its best to cover up this part of Obama’s story and to present him as a “savior” and “uniter,” but this upcoming election is too important to let the media dictate our decisions. These are perilous times for this country, and much is at stake. The potential damage to this country by a Barack Obama presidency is incalculable.

This is all old old news. And Ayers has been around a long time. He was a radical back when . But he's hardly a terroist now. Its not like he's one of Osama Bin Laden's followers. I don't think this has a lot of traction. Now days when you say "terroist", people think muslim bombers/killers or the Timothy McVeigh type. I don't think Ayers actually tried to kill people. And anyways, it was a long time ago and he's not the same guy.

I hope not because this is creepy stuff I found out while googling.
