Default The FCC ownership rules need to revert to 1995 levels

Regardless of one's political stripe, it is certainly true that the media is where the real power is. Allowing a small number of people to control it is lunacy. As it stands no, there are cities in the US where one company owns the TV station, newpaper and radio stations. This is nuts.

The US has approached deregulation on a 'less is always better' assumption, and common sense be (*)(*)(*)(*)ed. We have a majority of the Senate voting to roll back the FCC regulations, we have prominent conservatives and liberals, republicans and democrats, but the whitehous and house leadership aren't going to allow a floor vote in the house. I will vote accordingly.
