Yep Liebermann is no where near stupid enough to not take advantage of his now independent status.
He may say he's a Democrat but the Democrats are going to have to "buy" his votes not just assume them.

They can forget about him supporting them on any run away and lie "plan" for defeat in Iraq.

..and uh I don't tie the Democrats to the KKK. I do though tie Byrd to the KKK. Grand Wizards aren't just the guy that showed up to a rally.
