Actually, there's nothing illegal or unethical in what Lieberman did. I would agree that he's an opportunist, but what politician isn't? IMO, it's all good for Dems. At the end of the day, Lieberman chose to benefit himself as far as power and his constituents go and in doing so, he also helped the dems; intentionally or unintentionally.

So the people of Connecticut got what they wanted and the Dems got what they wanted.
