{sigh}...it's usually the case that the only way a rightwingnut can make a case is to take things 'way out of context. You've done the rightwingnut community proud, you did. People, you need to hear the context of the statements before drawing conclusions about anybody.

First of all, Mike was rebutting some crap that some conspiracy-theorist rightwingnut concocted. That was a rightwingnut idea he was rebutting.

Mike believes that if the proclaimed terrorist threat was what it was claimed to be, there would be more than 8 part-time state troopers keeping the entirety of Oregon safe--it has a shorline open to anybody. We would be protecting our power plants, our chemical plants, our ports. We aren't AND Bush isn't worried about the fact that we're aren't.

As far as marketing Fahrenheit 9/11 goes, Mike shouldn't turn down business in Lebanon et al until the Bush administration mandates that all businesses quit doing business in torture-mongering China. What's moral for Bush is moral enough for Mike.

Mike was rebutting the notion of the rightwing lunatic fringe's jingoistic notion that where ever the U.S. invades, they should automatically always be greeted as liberators. Big Chalabi suckers, those jingo rightwingnuts--delusional. An invader is an invader is an invader, and the U.S. invaded, therefore is the invader. Therefore it should come as no surprise that there's revolt, especially against yet another King George--King George the Dubya.

It would be a miracle of the Iraqi people would forgive us in the end, if there is an end to this insanity. There's better be--the rest of the world isn't going to put up with much more of this "last remaining superpower" megalomaniacal conduct from us.

Mike's certainly right about Bushco not being over yet. Bushco has been rumbling about Lebanon and Syria, and, below the press radar, is the escalations of hostilities with Cuba even as we speak. And there's Iran. But no rumblings about N. Korea, which there SHOULD be rumblings about, again proving that this administration doesn't take REAL terrorist threats seriously, that what Bushco presents as threats are as bogus as the claim that Iraq had WMD that Saddam would deploy against us. He can't be too concerned because of the debacle the Iraq invasion became, with the uncontrolled looting--if there were WMD, it was with administration permission (thanks to lack of a plan to controll this) that whatever was there even in the form of important papers, left the country. IF there were any.

I've never been close enough to Dubya to know what he does or doesn't do in his pants, but I agree with the rest of Mike's deserter charges. Mike has the uncensored documents that prove his case, and the remainder of his charge is history.

Any given country outside the U.S. would verify American ignorance of world affairs. I would, too. Not only do I know where to find New Jersy on a map, but also Guinea-Bissau, Trinidad-Tobago, Sierra Leone, Nepal, and a whole laundry list of nations that typically escape U.S. notice. What other nation do you know of where its citizens vote for their nation's leader based on a collection of a few 30-second ads? The dunbest Brit IS smarter than the average American--when a Brit can find Europe on a map, he's already several steps ahead of the average American. The same COULD be accurately said of the dumbest Canadian. Dumbest Pacific Islander, dumbest Swede, dumbest Icelander, dumbest..............hell, our current commander in chief had no idea who the leader of Pakistan was before 9/11 brought him to Bush's short attention.

And Bush has proved that you can fool all of the people all of the time provided that all of the people are evangelicals. Like every other rightwingnut lunatic, Fred Barnes is as trustable as Dubya. I'll believe Mike before I'll believe Barnes. Least of all, your source for a lot of what you posted here.
