Not too likely to waste much time on people who choose to ignore

If the aftermath of Katrina did not tell you that the Government will not be able to protect you in times civil strife then nothing will, or these people just choose not to hear. There are none so deaf as those that will not hear.

If we could wave a magic wand and destroy all the guns in the world at the same time, including the ones that belong to the police, and all the armies then there may be hope for gun control to be a positive impact.

Until then, we live in a world that is both wonderful, and very sick.
Hideous things happen to good people everyday both here and abroad.
People do what is in their hearts. If it is murder they will do it with a gun, or a #2 pencil.

I say this to the gun control people. (Time for a gut check)

My gun in my home protects others who have none.
Criminals know that every home they target they have a very good chance to encounter an armed homeowner.

So take the test.

Go outside your home and put up a large sign in your front yard that says
"I am proud that there are no guns in this house"

I bet you don't. As a matter of fact you're not too bright if you do.

But in essence that is what you are demanding all of us to do.
Put a big sign in front of all of our houses.

Think about it. "

If you have not noticed, this world is not so great and fluffy.
If you choose to lock your self in your home and shiver, then do so.
Most of us choose not to.
