I think a lot of black people do that deliberately, and I know
why they do it; it desensitizes them to the word.
Gays did the same thing with "Quееr" and are trying to do the same thing with "fаggot". I dont see that as a bad thing. Having less vulnerability to words is a good thing.

Which was kind of my point. You yourself give the word its power.
Why would you want to give your enemies a stick to beat you with? That is what you are doing when you allow yourself to be offended by certain words. That makes no sense to me.
