That a US Ambassador of a country asks the daughters of the President to leave the country and those daughters refuse and continue to put themselves (and by association, the nation's security) at risk.

Thus, it is a story (with funny undertones). It further reflects badly on the President's ability to fight the war on terrorism when he can't even control his own daughters when they're both embarrasing him and the US and jeopardizing themselves.
