So what if he thinks that now that we are there that we ought to try and finish the job. I understand that you have no idea about REAL foreign policy and military issues Truth-Bringer....however if the United States leaves Iraq now, things will get MUCH uglier then they already are. Are you so naive that you think that as soon as we leave Iraq that they will all just put down their guns, give each other big hugs and dance together in the streets??

No without us there believe me from my experience there you will have people dying in the THOUSANDS. You will then have Iran come in and take control of the country. Then with them controlling oil reserves they will make life absolutely miserable for YOU and ME and every other American or western society that they dont approve of.

I know its easy to just want to get out. I mean peace is always the easy answer. Being a passifist also always gives you the high ground. However sometimes, as much as we would like to just get out, it isnt just a reality at the moment.

Obama isnt sucking up to the repubs, or caving in. He is doing what is smart and responsible. Nearly every single one of our elected officials agree that we cant just pull out right away...to do so would be disastorous. I am willing to bet that these people, and our military men and women know MUCH more about the situation than you do. So instead of being some conspiracy theorist on every issue, try actually listening to the people who either on the front lines, or who are getting intelligence reports.
