I have experience working with kids who are locked up because of violent tendencies. Let's just say that when they are in these situations, they are there for a specific reason. If they were out on the streets they would most definately either hurt themselves or someone else. Many of these kids assault staff members on a daily basis. It is not wrong to imprison kids in some specific circumstances, unfortunately, sometimes it is the only option we have.
