Correction: most Jews ARE liberals (why do you think they're so successful on average? The progressive mind is always one step ahead of the regressive, or in other words, conservative).

Duh!

Ahh so you're again confusing Christians with Christ... This is the classic exercise wherein the atheists, in this case one that claims to be a Christian-Buhddist (meaning he believes whatever he wants to believe but likes to be considered a Christian...) takes scripture out of context and while he admits down the thread to not being perfect himself, he demands perfect adherence to Christ's teachings for someone who doesn't hyphenate their Christianity...

I read those teachings and I see them in the policies of the Bush administration, particularly as it executes the war on terror and the campaign in Iraq within that war.

Why would you want go back there after your initial post was already picked apart like a buzzard deboning a freshly killed squirrel?

there is no "mostly unique;" thats like saying "sometimes always," its an oxymoron - its either one or the other.

The result:
Quote:
By the mid-19th century unique had developed a wider meaning, “not typical, unusual,” and it is in this wider sense that it is compared. The comparison of so-called absolutes in senses that are not absolute is standard in all varieties of speech and writing.
