US broadcaster CNN has had to say sorry to one of America's top politicians after confusing him with Osama Bin Laden. CNN apologised to Senator Barack Obama for what it claimed was "a very bad typographical error" by its graphics department.
A caption on an item promoting a feature on the whereabouts of the al Qaeda leader carried the caption "Where's Obama?" over footage of Bin Laden.

Tommy Vietor, Mr Obama's press secretary, thanked bloggers who brought the error to light and helped make sure it was corrected.
"Though I'd note that the 's' and 'b' keys aren't all that close to each other, I assume it was just an unfortunate mistake, and don't think there was any truly malicious intent," Mr Vietor added.
Mr Obama has been tipped by some pundits to be the country's first black president.
Last year, he said he was considering a White House run in 2008 - and has already had to face questions about his unusual name.
"When I first started to work in public life... people would ask: 'Hey brother, what's with your name? You called Alabama or Yo' Mama?'"

I E-mailed CNN and told then that their graphics manager needs to be fired for for such a immature childish rookie mistake.
Mistake? how lame.
