No. 1, you'd be surprised. No. 2, do only interns make mistakes? If so, why are there so many blooper shows out there? Heck, CNN misspelled "sailor" the other night in a story about the guy plucked off his disabled boat in the Pacific. They spelled it "salior".

No one is outraged and it is just your assumption that is wasn't a mistake. If it was deliberate do you think CNN would admit it?
You clearly don't work wit words for a living. I do. Typos happen to everyone, especially people facing a tight deadline.

And maybe they deserve it. But to see a conspiracy when plain old human error easily explains it makes no sense. And getting outraged over such a minor event also makes no sense.
