Why would Israel unleash a Shiite majority nation that was ruled by a moderate Bathist who kept order in Iraq ? Iraq is after all a buffer country between Israel and Iran .. a nasty little Shiite country. We wouldn't. Our position now is 50 times worst than it was while Sadam al Tikriti was in power.
