Yeah, so what? The Lutheran Church does not practice those views anymore. It doesn't hold the world or past leaders in black and white/all or nothing regard. Martin Luther had some things right, and some wrong, and not everything he did is held as canon by the Lutheran Church.
Compare that to the Catholic Church he broke away from, which still to this day demands obedience to centuries old outdated views that were just a result of political wrangling in the early church and have nothing to do with being Christian or the Bible. |
