Default Illegals granted social security

Here is the link to the article. It is very confusing to me, I cant seem to figure out who is on what side?

http://washingtontimes.com/national/...4132-2456r.htm

This may have been discussed at some point in time before seeing as it occurred in May of '06, but I haven't herd anything about it until this morning.

Giving illegals social security is just straight up insane. Why would we give someone money who, broke the law getting here, doesn't pay taxes, doesn't pay social security, and doesn't have a real social securty number.

The argument is that these illegals are working and having money drawn from their check, and not receiving benefits after they retire. Well most of them are paid in cash, and have nothing taken out of their checks. If they were legal they would have money deducted from their paycheck just like the rest of us, and then they would get it back after they retire.

(In actuality, they would have money taken out of their paychecks and probably never see it again because their will be no social security by the time we retire. When illegals are taking without contributing that is causing the depletion of the social security funds to speed up.)

Hypothetically, if you could move to a place where you got to live and work without paying taxes, and received free money when you retired, would you go their. Well that is the situation at had, and that is probably a big reason so many illegals come here illegally instead of lawfully. If they came in lawfully they would have to pay just like the rest of us.

I think that if illegals want to gain the benefits of citizenship than simply become a citizen. Will someone please explain to me why his is even up for debate in congress, it is fricken common sense.

If we didn't have social security, then this wouldn't be an issue. This is a free country, let me do what I want with my money.
