Default What a president with some experience in the world?

This all happened to Obama when he was pretty young. My parents were strongly religious 7th Day Adventists - but all it did for me was to turn on the light how crazy some religions can get.

The people of the US have come a long way from the days of religious bigotry since the days when JFK became the first Catholic to be president. Anybody that would not vote for Obama because he attended an Islamic school in Indonesia for a couple of years, would never vote for him anyway. To me, it says this guy's seen a lot more of the world than most people. We have seen what a disaster a president can be when he has never left the country in his life and spent his youth playing cowboys and Indians in
Texas. With foreign policy playing an increasingly important role for the President of the US, having someone with a diverse background is very possibly and advantage.

By the way, Hillary grew up in a town about 30 miles from where I grew up in Chicago...we are about the same age, too. I wonder what juicy things we can dig up about her past if we look carefully? Actually, I'm sure her youth was similar to mine, so it wouldn't shock me. But it is not the kind of thing I would want on the front page of a tabloid magazine either
