When Is Abortion Racism? ~John Piper
Margaret Sanger quotes (Founder of Planned Parenthood ) http://www.eadshome.com/MargaretSanger.htm "We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population. and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members." Margaret Sanger's December 19, 1939 letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble, 255 Adams Street, Milton, Massachusetts. Original source: Sophia Smith Collection, Smith College, North Hampton, Massachusetts. Also described in Linda Gordon's Woman's Body, Woman's Right: A Social History of Birth Control in America. New York: Grossman Publishers, 1976. Blood money isn't colorblind http://www.frcblog.com/2008/02/blood...orblind_1.html The majority of black people actually support racism with their vote. The very racism that they claim to want to stand against, they support. It's an enslavement to a self defeating ideology (liberalism) that drives many of them, not a fight against real racism. I only wish that they could see that it is that same ideology that was meant to destroy them. They have in effect been convinced to take sides with the racists to fight racism. Why not fight the number one racism today, abortion? Because it's the wrong ideology! Todays democrat leaders can niether gain power or wealth by fighting againt the abortion industry. In fact, they get a part of their power and wealth from the abortion industry. That's just one of the many examples of selective rage these days. What say you?

You two are trying to make out Planned Parenthood is racist based on a letter Margaret Sanger wrote in 1939? Come on.

I think the main point that the OP is trying to make is that abortion is not the clean and progressive idea fundamentally founding in interests of personal freedom as some would choose to propagandize. The roots are dark and bloody, metaphorically speaking.

Further, that letter was about how to expand Planned Parenthood's services into the black community. It was already doing it in the white community. So it's rather ridiculous to read racism into it.
Abortion is only racism if its forced on one group and prohibited for another.
