That was one thing about Clinton I definitely didnt like.
But Clinton isnt a racist sexist homophobic anti-semite, and Clinton did show a backbone with Saddam (something Nixon probably would not have done)...so that mitigates him somewhat.
It would be nice if Bush was more anti-PRC, but if he was, he wouldnt have been elected. It wouldnt have pissed off a majority of Americans, but it would have pissed off enough people to keep him out of office. He did confront China on Taiwan (which Clinton would never have done). So he scored points with me for that.
Bush isnt a true neo-con IMO, but he is closer than either Nixon or Clinton.
