Its easy to talk about what could have been done in the Middle East and ways it could have been conducted better(The random bombings in Afghanistan, Bushes certainty on matter he was wrong about, and many more). The hard part is accepting what is right. For one, Saddam leaving this world. Not many can oppose this. Another will be when the people in Iraq and other parts of the middle east are under a new government that is not completely under control by religion and is governed by the people. When that is complete the US economy will regain its losses and there will be more safety to many parts of the world.
This may take many years after the reforms happen in Iraq. But, I can only hope that this is along the lines of what our government officials had in mind when all of this started. I hope this is not a way to achieve personal goals because that is not what they where elected for.
