Faith in the current system is for dreamers and archaic believers in national pride. No, I can't imagine where you got the notion that I have faith in it.

I and the group I belong to have very much faith, however, in our current rush toward collectivism, which only can lead to a unified society under the management of strong central rule. When we reach completion of our transition from individualism to totalism, all the concerns you voice will be laid to rest. Obama and Hillary know this and have vowed to support our efforts toward this completion.

Your views here are interesting, but (I think) are only academic. The results of the elimination of capitalism and increased central management will resolve any ill effects of your "false consciousness," rendering them immaterial.

Do you seriously think I am trying to be accepted by the provisional voters group?

Well it seems to me that you love associating yourself with conservative values and staying the hell away from liberal ones.

Could it possibly be that his set of stated beliefs are actually the beliefs he genuinely believes in?

This is awesome! My thread about political moderation has been hijacked by a communist and a fake communist! Maybe we can get a fascist and an anarchist too, and really have a party!

The reason I contributed to this thread was to critique your central thesis at the beginning: .... 'it is anyone who is not an independent who is confused'. I argued cogently why being an independent is not an option so if you want to continue the debate feel free. In this context, whether it is either me or KOD who you deem to be a 'communist' is a moot point.

Really, you argued cogently? I could have sworn that you simply babbled on for a giant run on paragraph, about false consciousness. I still don't see why that exempts people from being politically independent. Tell me, how does it?

Well, we did get a bit sidetracked from that original point. But don't let lil' frod bother you.............he's still confused over the difference between intelligence and belligerence.
