Pardon me, but could U please show the board the amendment(s) to the Constitution banning or re-instituting any other drug save alcohol?

That's what I thought.

I never claimed the Constitution was amended, I said Congress was involved in making those drugs illegal.

Please pay attention.

Pay attention? I'm the one who started this topic. I'm sorry that your common sense didn't have the depth to understand I was talking about an amendment. That being said, I still think it's strange how it was ONLY alcohol[/b] that garnered the attention of an amendment on two separate occasions.

Thoughts?

We've had alcohol for thousands of years and it has been a part of mainstream society since then. The reason why it was easier to outlaw weed, cocaine, heroine, and other drugs like that was because they were used by a much smaller part of the population and they were relatively new, and were not a part of our society.

If you meant 'an amendment' you should have said so. What you actually did say was incorrect. I'm sorry your common sense didn't have the depth to allow you to make a clear, coherent point.

And now that I've enlightened your mental feebleness, I see that you've once again astounded all of us with your uncanny ability to contribute to this topic.

I bow to U, Oh Might One.

There was no need to amend the Constitution in order to make certain drugs illegal.
