Prove there were active WMD programs.

Otherwise, all of your huffery has been for naught.

Chlorine? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!!! You have to be kidding me! How do you think that would have gone over, if they had told us that from the beginning? "Na the tirrirists, they got chlorine!" "Chlorine can be very dangerous!" "Like have you ever been in a pool with to much chlorine, it stings your eyes!" "The tirrirists are gonna sting your eyes, unless we invade Iraq!!!!!"

Somehow I don't think that would have worked!!!

To believe Bush lied is to believe Tony Blair lied as well. And Russia and France too. They opposed the war but agreed he most likely had WMD.

“The Australian Government knows that Iraq still has chemical and biological weapons and that Iraq wants to develop nuclear weapons.” John Howard, Speech to Parliament before the war in Iraq, 4 February 2003

“[Saddam Hussein's] weapons of mass destruction program is active, detailed and growing. The policy of containment is not working. The weapons of mass destruction program is not shut down; it is up and running now” — Tony Blair in the British parliamentary debate on Iraq, September 24.

A lot of people lied.

There is no way around it, what you describe would entail a full invasion and battle with Saddams military. Which is exactly what Bush did only you are advocating leaving Iraq in chaos and open to takeover by it's neighbors without a leader and a defeated military to stand in the way.

Good article from Keegan that lays out Saddam's military.

Now what's funny about this, is that THIS is written in response to the assertion that Anti-Americans always give the benefit of the doubt to terrorists... Here we see same laughing hysterically at the notion that massive stockpiles of chlorine are harmless, despite the simple fact that chlorine is a base element used in nearly every corrosive chemical agent there is...

So if you're in the business of building corrosive chemical agents you'll need a boat load of chlorine...

Tell ya what Frodly, why don't you run down to the hardware or pool supply store and pick up a canister of Chlorine tablets, set your gas oven to broil and take a cookie sheet and carefully set the contents of that container on that cookie sheet... Lock all the windows and doors and see how long ya last.

If memory serves; when burned, powdered Chlorine emits cyanide...

* WARNING TO MORONS!: Doing that will kill your @$$... SO DON'T DO IT! *

I'd like to thank the anti-Americans here as well as point out that I do not pull there strings, they have advanced their responses on their own, having demonstrated perfectly, the precise response of which they were accussed...

And it is THIS response freinds which is at the basis of the whole "WHERE ARE THE WMDs..." They simply lack the intellectual means required to understand the issue...

We can rest assured that if they were sitting on a battle field and the Chemical agents comprised of chlorine (or any of a hundreds of other just as common industrial base element chemicals) came wofting over, they wouldn't think it nearly as funny...

Now the same is true for biological agents... where common components are essential in the production; as well as facilities used in creating them... of which each one was said by the left to be used for every other possible use, except that of producing chemical or biological weapons.

The calculation is very simple... when faced with an circumstance wherein the enemy could be using the compound of facility to build WMD or something else... demand that the facility was used for something else.

This is what the enemy does... This is what the ideological left does... thus the left is the enemy. A very simple calculation indeed.

There is no doubt Iraq could not handle the US military. They still had one of the most respected nilitaries in the middle east.

To get back to the original point simply going in and arresting Saddam would be impossible without tangling with this military.
