Did it EVER occur to you that maybe, just maybe the 99.9% of the Iraqis fighting to get rid of a conquering power (the US) and to settle some long standing differences via Civil War will NEVER allow al-Qaeda to come in and somehow "take over" Iraq? Al-Qaeda is a paramilitary, multi-nationally organization, which means crazy fanatics from all over the Muslim world has joined them. This organization can not, does not want to, and never will "control" a country.
Clearly, if you think the US is having a tough time controlling the Iraqis, imagine the problems a group of fanatical, fundamentalist outsiders would have of taking control of the government.
Get real...those old scare tactic ideas, your al-Qaeda boogie man, has proven to be just a NeoCon fairy tail, which used to frighten the people of the US. Not any more.
