Criticizing our government's policies isn't unpatriotic. I've never known apotropoxy to show hatred for America as a country. If an ultra-hawkish person wrote that America had consistently been too soft in its foreign policy, would that be unpatriotic? The right to criticize the government is one of the things that make America better than certain other nations.

I'm not "bashing" anyone or anything. For the record, I happen to disagree with apotropoxy's statement, but I don't want this thread to turn into a partisan dispute. My point is that I don't want this thread to be used simply for posting quotes one strongly disagrees with. It is supposed to be humorous.
