Default Until we lose a war, none of our generals will be tried

In WW II, Air Force General Curtis LeMay was the most vocal advocate of dropping incindiary bombs on German and Japanese civilian targets as a means of breaking the will of the enemy.

Think about what I just said. He advocated the murder of hundreds of thousands of German and Japanese noncombatants well behind the battle lines for the purpose of breaking the will of their people.

If we had lost, this guy would have been at the front of the line. He certainly deserved to be fried in my book.

The Soviet Union had plenty of people with blood on their hands too, but none of these were judged for their crimes.

War crimes are for the losing side and always have been. These trials were never meant to be even handed so lets not pretend they are supposed to be now. If we allow our soldiers to be judged by people from a country with an axe to grind against the USA, then our soldiers will be abused for political gain.

As long as we have the world's strongest military, we need to tell the UN exactly where it can stick its international courts.
