It is a necessary evil. It allows the weeds and overgrowth of governments to be removed and replaced with new and better systems. Death disallows overpopulation and starvation. War changes the way people view their lives, allows them to become better people, and helps them shape a better world. It is also something that has been connected with mankind since as far back as any can remember.

Without war, mankind would be no better off than mice, scrabbling for that last bit of food before someone else gets it.
