Default Apologies for causing offence, but...

I recently posted on a thread in "Warfare..." during which I used the term "..... footing" In Britain the word is a slang term for cat so when I say (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) footing I mean "dancing around" or skirting. I realise now that in America the word means something completely different (as fanny does in this country) Sorry
