A war with Iran would possibly be a huge downfall...the facts are the facts and the facts of geography say that Iran borders Iraq...Yes obviously by the recent news Iran is supporting Iraq with weapons (mainly IED's) but if war is called then Bush would have quite a bit of trouble with the Military respect level, moral would go down, and it would be just another unneeded reason to pull our troops out of Iraq. Plus if we go to war with Iran then the allies of Iran would join in and that is not what we need right now for the death would possibly be catastrophic...As the famous saying goes "In peace the youth bury their fathers but in war the fathers bury the youth."


I remember when i was a young boy I would lay in my bed at night and just wonder, wonder when a nuke would be launched and my family and friends would die. It was a childhood terror living during a war with nukes and with Iran supposedly developing nuclear power for "energy" it is only a matter of time before they succeed and team with Iraq publicly. I remember on a other political forum a few years back i mentioned my thoughts about Iraq and Iran coming together to fight us... It's funny how they mocked me for my "unrealistic" thoughts. They said it would never happen but now it seems that I was all too right.

So obviously this has two sides to it, wait for the attack or be the attacker. As the famous saying goes, "There is nothing so possible to make peace then to be ready for the attacker"
